Verena Lieb is currently a PhD student at the Technical University of Munich. She is scientific assistant at DGFI (“Deutsches Geodätisches Forschungsinstitut”) in the research domain of regional gravity field modelling. The main focus is the optimal combination of various observation techniques in order to obtain spectral depending information about the Earth’s gravity field for selected areas. She is member of the IAG ICCT Study Group “Comparison of current methodologies in regional gravity field modeling” and contributing to different ESA projects concerning the GOCE satellite gravity field mission.
