Pauli Väisänen does his research in the ReSoLVE (Research on Solar Long-Term Variability and Effects) Centre of Excellence at the Space Climate Research unit of the University of Oulu in Finland. Pauli’s current work is focused on the long-term variation of the galactic cosmic ray flux in the heliosphere, which is modulated by the solar magnetic activity. Pauli specializes in utilizing long and high-resolution datasets and signal analysis to study the evolution of small-scale solar-related variations across long time periods.
